Show Your Support for the All Whites and Wrap Up Warm!

May 12, 2010, Auckland:  For only the second time in history, New Zealand has qualified to compete in the biggest sporting event on the planet, the FIFA World Cup™. Just like the legendary team of 1982, the current All Whites, led by inspirational captain Ryan Nelsen, will carry the hopes and dreams of the nation when they head to South Africa. And they need you behind them every step of the way.

As a means of unifying national support for the All Whites, New Zealand Football has licensed the production of an “Official All Whites Supporters Scarf”. The All Whites Supporter’s Scarf will be the official item that will clearly and proudly demonstrate Kiwi support for the All Whites as they embark upon their World Cup journey (and it will also keep you warm on the sidelines during those chilly winter mornings too).

A portion of the profits from every scarf is to be reinvested in grassroots initiatives by New Zealand Football to help create the next generation of All Whites and Football Ferns. The scarves can be purchased from most major sporting good retailers and from www.allwhitesscarf.co.nz . The scarves carry a recommended retail price of $24.99 each.

Football clubs can also to get involved by selling the scarves directly as a fundraising mechanism.

The All Whites Supporter’s Scarf will be the “Official” item that will clearly and proudly demonstrate Kiwi support for the All Whites as they embark upon their World Cup journey. So let’s get behind the team this June and make it a white out!
